100 Days of SwiftUI – Day 0

I’ve always been interested in programming – I even did a Computer Science degree – but I’ve never been a developer for real.

For the last half dozen years I’ve been a digital product owner at a variety of companies, and I’ve worked alongside developers that whole time. Being involved with these talented developers as they create complex web apps on a daily basis has helped me maintain an interest in programming but I’ve never managed to get around to actually doing something about it.

Enter 100 Days of SwiftUI by Hacking With Swift.

This is my new side-project, I’m going to attempt to learn SwiftUI and see if I can develop a simple app or two along the way.

One of the rules of the course is…

“Every day you post about your progress to the social media site of your choice. Tell people!”

…and so I’m going to keep track of my progress on this blog rather than social media. I’m also supposed to post every single day but I might just roll up my posting to every few days to keep it manageable.

So if you’ve accidentally stumbled across this blog after searching for 100 Days of SwiftUI I hope you keep reading and maybe find some of it useful.

The Day 0 task is to watch a video about how to become an iOS developer, so lets get cracking!
